A 52-acre development, Legacy Village at Apple Valley, is located southeast of the intersection of County Road 42 and Cedar Avenue (Hwy. 77) south of I-494.

Aging in Place

It is the goal of Regent Communities, Inc. that every future resident at The Regent at Apple Valley will be able to enjoy each day with the ability to achieve maximum independence with no sacrifice in quality of life, health and happiness. At The Regent at Apple Valley, residents will have the option to remain in the same apartment home regardless of the assisted living services needed or utilized. With a wide range of services available and specifically catered to every individual; independent living and assisted living, the needs of residents will consistently be met.

 

The Regent at Apple Valley’s unique concept of “aging in place” will allow residents to truly develop a sense of place and home, free from worry of any changing health status that may require additional services. If a resident’s health should change, assisted living services, as needed will be delivered directly to that resident’s home upon request. This concept further allows The Regent a fluid and dynamic approach to market conditions, thereby increasing initial occupancy and absorption rates, stability and the long-term feasibility of the project.

The Assisted Living option at The Regent at Apple Valley will provide a special combination of residential housing, standard personalized supportive services and ongoing healthcare. Regent Assisted Living is designed to meet the individual needs of those requiring assistance with the activities of daily living, but do not need the same level of comprehensive and intensive medical care provided in a traditional nursing home.

Regent at Apple Valley Assisted Living options will provide residents with the care of a well trained staff. Services provided will be “a la carte” allowing residents to select only those services needed. Many services will be provided in individual residences, which include a full kitchen and 24-hour emergency call system. Regent at Apple Valley Assisted Living units will include:

Project Construction and Unit Mix

Sitting directly adjacent to the site is Legacy Lake, a focal point within Legacy Village. Legacy Lake is encompassed by a walking path, landscaping, a small park and other open green spaces. Immediately north of The Regent at Apple Valley is Kelley Park, a 3-acre park which includes children’s play areas and additional walking paths. Home Depot is located directly across the street from Legacy Village at Apple Valley North. Site and area amenities also include:

At the Regent at Apple Valley, transportation services will be provided on a daily basis to surrounding retail areas, amenities and other locations. Specific travel services will also be available to residents as requested.

The Regent at Apple Valley will consists of 134 units located on approximately 2.45 acres within the Legacy Village master development. Pursuant to the recommendations of Health Dimensions, who completed the market feasibility study, unit mix consists of approximately 69% two bedroom units and 31% one bedroom units. Units will range in size from 692 to 1,150 square feet.

The total gross building area will encompass approximately 215,000 square feet with 46,000 and 52,000 square feet of that space dedicated to common areas and underground parking. Underground parking will be available for residents for an additional fee. The Regent at Apple Valley has been conceptually based on Regent Communities, Inc.’s previous senior housing developments. The Regent at Apple Valley will be constructed as a four-story, wood-framed building. Project materials will include a mix of hardy board siding with a simulated stucco appearance, brick and stone.
